Read In! moves to George Washington House

SINCE THE NEW format was introduced in 2009 the Crop Over Read In! has moved by leaps and bounds to become one of the most popular productions on the Crop Over calendar.

This year the National Cultural Foundation has moved the event to the George Washington House in anticipation of a larger audience brimming with excitement and anxious to sample the servings of headliners Adrian Green, DJ Simmons. iNDRANi and Black Kla Soyl,  just to name a few of the talented  clan.

These artistes are working around the subjects of roots, culture and history to create something fresh and exciting, but not taking away from tradition.

There is the international flavor still, as New York based Barbadian, poet/singer/songwriter Damian Marvay  and Motion-Live join the cast with another overseas based artiste Sean Fields, who will hold the acts together as Master of Ceremonies.

It’s an evening not like any other in Crop Over. Its provocative, dynamic, musical and artistic.

History meets history, as history is made in a modern style; The Crop Over Read In! Thursday, July 21 at George Washington House.
