Coordinator George Nicholson says all systems are go for what is one of the most anticipated events on the Crop Over calendar.
Five bands including the Roberts Truck will leave from Pelican and move on to the Princess Alice Highway, on to Holborn Circle and on to the Spring Garden Highway. First out are Three Trinis and a Bajan, then the Ernst & Young Staff Association and Friends, Jambalassie, Colours Entertainment, Bashy Bajan and of course the Roberts truck.
Police are out in full force to ensure safety and security. The Roberts Foreday Mornin' is expected to end at sunrise, signalling the start of the Mount Gay/Carib Beer Bridgetown Market.
