Blaze Kadooment band aiming for 300 members this year

IT’S YEAR THREE and there seems to be no stopping the Kadooment band Blaze.

During their official launch at the Spooners Road band-house leader Earl Gill said they intend to increase the more than two hundred revelers who jumped with them last year.

“We’re looking for three hundred strong,” he told us. “This year our theme is all things Bajans so we think we will be able to get more people to come on board.”

There are four sections, Gine Green, De Cave, Gold Cup and Pride of Barbados, costume prices range from BBD$300 to $390.00.

Blaze band fetes are starting on Thursday, June 03 and will feature entertainment from popular artistes.

Registration started on May 29 and will continue right up to Kadooment, the fee is BBD$100.00 and can be paid at the band-house, contact Earl at 235-1046, 833-1643 or at egill.blades@hotmail.com.
